“      What a memory,” chattered Grandpa Ben as he was opening the album he was keeping for many years. He was sitting on his old, brown but durable rocking chair, looking closely as each picture shows up, remembering the scenes of his life.

Bernanrdito C. Rosales Jr. He grew up in a province surrounded by forests with large, thick trunks filled with supernatural existing lives.

All the pictures he kept were important for him. It has a lot of proofs of supernatural beings caught on camera. And if you may be asking if cameras do exist or have been owned by his family, absolutely yes. Even though Ben was rich, he was still living on a simple house. But of courses they own some lots of land. Some of these lots are usually taken care by caretakers, or some of their relatives.

While Grandpa Ben was going to turn the next page of the album, one of his grandsons came for a request.

“Grandpa, grandpa…um…we’re bored. We already asked mom to tell us stories but she recommended us to ask you. Can you tell us some? Please,” beg Lary. Together with him were his other cousins and his sister.

“Well, I think your mother gave you a great recommend. Now, take a look at this.” Ben was showing a picture where he was pictured alone with an enormous, creepy tree, at his back that was said to be home of existing supernatural beings.

“Now children, do you see this tree,” Ben asked with the children nodding. “Did you know that this tree is said to be a home of a kapre.

“Wow grandpa, this is going to be creepy, isn’t it?” murmured Marie. She was crouching, hugging her knees towards her chest, showing everybody she was afraid.

“Maybe…Now, do you see a smoke somewhere around the shade?” Ben asked, looking at each eye of every children telling ‘How can there be a smoke, the tree isn’t even burning’. They were puzzled but intrigued.

Then on little Hary asked, “Hey grandpa, its dark. Smoke? Never to be seen, I believe. ”

“Then look closely. It’s a full moon right?” Ben was egger to convince the kids to observe closely.

            “Well,” a child said.

“Grandpa look, fireflies,” said Gaby. She was on an age about seven. She is a bit short though.

“Ha – ha – ha,” mocked Jordan, trying to imply Gaby was corny. Jordan is a ten year old kid who always tries to irritate his sister, Gaby. He has a dark but blonde hair with a fair complexion.

“Oh my (…) Grandpa. How – ?” cried Mari surprised by what she saw. There was a smoke near the figure thought it was some fireflies.

“Woo coz, your (…) and my (…) are the same,” Jordan said trying to create a funny atmosphere from the sudden shock. But everyone was very serious, observing very closely what could have caused the light and the smoke.

Then Ben begins,”When was young –,” as he was looking outside, flashing the memories back, on a full moon.
